Stand Ready.
Stand Together.
Stand by Your Neighbors.
For over 65 years, the men and women of Caledonia Volunteer Fire Station have answered the call — protecting homes, businesses, and the families who make this community home.

Years of Service
Born From Community.
Built on Bravery.
Caledonia Volunteer Fire Station didn't start as an institution — it started as a promise. When the first residents of this small Mississippi town realized they needed protection, they rolled up their sleeves, pooled their resources, and answered the call together.
Today, that same spirit drives everything we do. Our volunteers aren't just firefighters — they're your neighbors, your local shop owners, teachers, and farmers. They show up before dawn and stay late into the night because this community is worth it. From structure fires to vehicle accidents, from rescue operations to community education, we stand ready around the clock.

Always On Call
Protection, Prevention, and Peace of Mind
From emergency response to education, we offer a full range of fire safety services to keep Caledonia and the surrounding communities safe.
Emergency Response
Structure fires, vehicle collisions, medical emergencies, and hazardous material incidents — our trained volunteers respond swiftly and professionally, day and night.
Fire Inspections
We offer complimentary fire safety inspections for homes and businesses. Identify hazards before they become emergencies and ensure your property meets safety codes.
Community Education
From school visits to senior living workshops, we teach fire prevention, evacuation planning, and CPR — empowering every member of our community to stay safe.
Rescue Operations
Vehicle extrication, water rescue, structural collapse, and search-and-rescue missions — our volunteers train continuously to handle any situation that comes our way.
Fire Safety Plans
We help families and businesses develop customized fire evacuation and safety plans — because preparedness saves lives when seconds count.
Youth Fire Safety Programs
Our "Firefighters in the Classroom" program reaches students across Caledonia, teaching children the importance of fire safety through interactive lessons and demonstrations.
More Than a Station — A Family
Caledonia Volunteer Fire Station is woven into the fabric of our town. We're not just responders — we're the folks you pass at the grocery store, the ones who show up at church, and the neighbors who keep watch over this community.
We host annual open houses, participate in parades, sponsor youth sports teams, and partner with local organizations on disaster preparedness. Every event, every visit, every handshake reinforces what we believe: that safety is something we build together.
